The American Antiquarian Society, located in Worcester, MA, featured an exhibit with texts written in the Algonquian language.

 During its 2011 Commencement ceremony, Harvard awarded an honorary degree to Joel Iacoomes who died before he could participate in the Commencement of 1665. Tiffany Smalley was one of the very first research assistants involved with this project. 

A poem written by Benjamin Larnell, one of the first five Native students at Harvard, was discovered in 2013 in the Mass. Historical Society.
